Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 before getting married at the civil ceremony on December. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of Season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent online following on social media.
